All scholars will register to National Health Insurance (NHIC) and National Pension (NPS). Both insurances are provided to all POSTECH employees with monthly deduction from their salary. To register, you may need the alien registration number and signing into the contract provided by the HR Office. After the registration is completed, you will receive a health insurance card that will entitle you to healthcare at hospitals. If you wish to receive your NPS deposit or transfer the NPS to your county's national pension, please ask the ISSS staff about the procedure at least a month before leaving Korea.
